Neill Burke – Breeder 

Neill Burke is one of New Zealand’s most well known cymbidium growers and breeders who has proudly carried on the heritage established by his father, Fred Burke.

In the last few years post the sale of his production block in Whakatane, Neill and his wife Jane have moved to nearby Thornton where is he is now focussing on breeding new colours and highly productive cymbidium cultivars.

Neill has continued his relationship with BLOOMZ which began with orchid flower sales to Japan in the nineties, and has entrusted international development (Plant Sales & Distribution) to our company.
